it has been like a month. and instead of telling you everything that has happened in all that time, i'm going to allow you read other people's journals and i will summerize what has happened up until now.
-came home from cali (which was awesome in every way possible (except my friends weren't there))
-went to school the next day (which sucked except that i have no classes)
-crazy first weekend: matt's crazy bitches started shit
after fight quelled have coed sleepover at nates
girls get us busted in the morning
nate and i go to butler anyway and have good times
come home and face the music
-week of being "grounded": go to party at kirsten's to watch speak
rode bike to visit jay at work multiple times
went to steak and shake and caitlyns house with friends
went chasity's party
had sleepover
got paid hundred bucks
bought air soft guns with my bud nate
-high noon at seven: matt and zach vs. nate and jack in an epic air soft battle.

as sad as i am that i am not hanging out with all of you guys, because from the sound of it you guys are having a blast, but if i had to be anywhere but home, it would be in my birthplace of California. it has been a long time since i have been back here, and after the first night i remembered every reason that i love it. i got back from backpacking today, which was totally sweet but i can't tell you what we did because only backpackers can know that kinda stuff. and now i get to spend a week waterskiing, boating, hiking, and of course eating grandma's awesome food.
i also found out that i get back on the 27 not the 25. which really sucks because that means that i only get one day home before school. but it will be fun anyway.

well i haven't done this in a long time.
lets think about what i have done since i last updated... well, first of all, i went with my good friend nathan to a far away land called arizona. let me tell you, it was hot. but luckily even though it was 105 everyday, there was no humidity. what did we do there, well we started by going to the grand canyon. and if i had to describe it in two words i would probably use "canyon" and "grand" but it really was beautiful and fun to be around.
so then the sells and i ventured onward to our next destination, a really relaxing condo that had a pool (with a waterfall), hot tub, and a ping pong table. its sad to say but those three these were the main activities that nate and i participated in for the entire week. now normally, im the type of person that would rather be doing something than laying around a pool all day, but since my family's definition of a vacation is find a really interesting place and go to museums every single day, being with the relaxing sells on this trip was quite refreshing. over the course of the week nate and i played 41 games of ping pong, final score coming to jack - 23, nate - 18. thats right i owned him. nate and i also went fourteen games of euchre undefeated but were finally beaten on the fifth-teeth. overall that week was pretty chill.
then we flew home, that is after our plane was canceled so we had to stay one more night, when i got home, i had the amazing responsibility of being home alone. scary thought. why did my parents do this? no one knows. so the next three days were all quite interesting and fun, for more information see jason's latest entry. i also met my new neighbor named zack, he is a pretty cool kid and has been hanging out with us for a couple of days now.
so now i am back in granville. knowing all of us im positive that we will make it a fun time. the next time i leave will be on the 18th. in which i am going to my homeland of California. that is going to be awesome. it would have been cooler if nate could have gone too, but since he's been so busy this summer his mom put down her foot. so instead i get to go with my father, which we all know to be a pretty cool guy anyway so it will still be sweet.
i now am going to agree with kirsten and say that summer reading as always sucks but since im not completely behind i feel better than i have in the past. well the summer is coming to an end so i say that we have the right and the responsibility to make this last couple of weeks fun and fucking awesome. well its 3:30 and nate is going to pick me up in four hours so we can go to cross country practice, which by the way i am quitting. i have always said that running can't be a sport. anyway i guess i'm going to make like a tree and get the fuck outta here. |

So i am finally home from my long and perilous journey. Overall it was a complete success. it started with an amazing and intense lacrosse camp which was filled with a lot of lacrosse players that were better than every person in ohio combined. so yes i looked not so amazing playing with them but i didn't really embarrass myself either so that is good. basically the week consisted of me playing lacrosse, eating or sleeping. nothing else. if we weren't eating or playing, nate and i both were in our beds trying to recover from sun burn and the lax session from earlier that day, and you guys know how much i don't sleep. but it still was as amazing as it was tiring. so then we went up to new hampshire, which is a really cool state. at first our plans were distorted by some rangers that said we would be fined $200 if we camped where we wanted to, but then the next day we found this really cool lake that was surrounded by mountains and was just frickin awesome. (as soon as nate gives me the pictures i will post them). the second day that we were there, we decided to swim to this island that was like half a mile away. now we could of just swam there but we wanted to be safe and we wanted to bring food and water so we found a log and tied food and water to it and then tied it to me so that i could drag it across lake to the island. it was an experience that i think every little boy should have. the last day in the mountains we decided to hike up mount washington, the tallest mountain in new england. let me tell you it was a bitch, but it felt good all the same. after that we headed to nate's uncles lake cabin which is on the the most glorious lake in the world. well we spend the rest of the trip water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, on late night boat excursions(including a chinese food and james bond movies) and just cruising around the lake in his really nice boat. then we made the journey home. and let me tell you, as much fun as we had on our journey, it is nice to be home with my friends again. well i'm looking forward to these next couple of days that i have before i leave yet again for arizona. that will be fun but once again it will be without my friends and that will suck. |

so, now that the fair and maggie are gone, the group doesn't really know what to do. on the fifth, nate and i put a bunch of hours in digging ditches for my neighbor, then i went on a twenty mile bike ride which felt amazing. then i had the joy of spending quality time with joy, my church choir director, while all the tenors recorded a christmas album. I mean come on christmas in july, what the hell? not only that but i don't sing and i definitely don't and can't sing for three hours straight. it was definitely a miserable three hours. but then i went to caitlyn's and play mario cart with my buds. not only did i play videogames but chasity got me an apple pie for my upcoming birthday, needless to say the pie was amazing. she also got me a hot polo, which i wore today and it was hot. thanks a bunch. the next day, nate and i finished up our jobs and then i hung out with kay and jay. when the night was still young, i had to leave to go and watch a play with my family. it wasn't bad but it did have a lot of sex in it. then after that i went back to jays to say goodbye because i leave tomorrow, well now i leave today, at nine. this trip is going to be sweet by the way. I mean, what can be better than playing lacrosse, going backpacking in the white mountains, staying at a lake cabin, and road tripping with my bud nathan. there is one thing that can beat all that, hanging with my buddies that are back home. i know that i'm suppose to be a heartless beast but i'm not going to lie, i am sad to miss out on all the fun. but i will have my cell phone so you guys better text me every moment that you do something. well since i leave in seven hours and twenty-seven minutes i better hit the sack so talk to you in thirteen days. don't forget to text. Well now that the gig is over, which was sweet by the way, the group has mainly been hanging out at the fair, with a little bit of ya mean on the side. Ya Mean was pretty fun and almost everybody had a good time. But like everything that happens in our group drama soon follows. During the Ya Mean seesion some choices were made that probably should have been thought through before they were made, but that is sort of the point of Ya Mean anyway so... hopefully everything will be alright. I mean there was no long term damage and I think in the end everything will be alright. If you know what i mean... YAAA MEEEAAANN! |

Once again i'm at band practice with my buds. That is pretty much what my whole week has and is going to be like since our gig is on friday. watching xmen dos at the moment good movie! just played since you've been gone best song evaaaa!!!! at the moment were eating spaghettiO's cold wow were cool 16 and 17 year olds! for the record those are nasty and so are mushrooms! blaaaa, but caitlyn is really cool and hot and brought them for us! i just wanted to say that caitlyn is my hottest friend ever and i love her lots!!!!! |

As everyone knows, Denver was fun. We got a lot of work done while meeting many interesting people and having a blast hanging out with each other. The whole week we were constantly playing cards, lacrosse, frisbee, music, meeting new friends, and hanging out with the ones I have always loved and trusted. As fun and awesome as it was, it is good to be home. In a week the underground gets the great opportunity to play in front of the whole town. This means I get to spend a lot of high quality time with my band buddies all week. Well that is all I have for now... |
